The previous episode of "Dragon Ball Super" kicked off a brand-new Universe Survival arc that already has fans buzzing. The brand-new arc will see Goku along with a team of Universe 7 warriors clash against other multiverse's fighters.

The martial arts tournament in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 78, dubbed as The Tournament of Power, will determine the universe's strongest warriors, but the tournament has an alarming rule. Wherein, the Omni-King will be ruthless to the losers, according to Comic Book.

Nonetheless, the main protagonist Goku started the anime series martial arts tournament and its debut. Goku disregarded all of his his friends' warnings and asked the king of the 12 universes to set the competition in motion.

The preview of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 78 further revealed that a match between Universe 7 and Universe 9 will first take place. The main protagonist of "Dragon Ball Super" will gear up to exchange blows with his adversaries from Universe 9 while the Omni-King is present during the match, Racing Junky reported.

Wherein, the Omni-King has already reserved a seat for the martial arts tournament. The reason why the king of the 12 universes will be present at the event is because he wants to destroy the world of the god who will fail in the match.

Nevertheless, as Goku is well aware of Omni-King's a punishment for the loser, the anime series main character will attempt to build an alliance with the best fighters in the universe. It has been said that in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 78, Goku will collaborate with Gohan, who is hesitant to join the tournament for the reason that he is now a scholar.

The match between Universe 7 and Universe 9 in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 78 is slated to ignite on Feb. 12.
