'Fifty Shades Darker': New Promo Gives Glimpse Of 'Fabulous' Masquerade Ball Scene

By

A new promo just dropped for "Fifty Shades Darker". The latest trailer takes fans behind the scenes of a lush masquerade sequence pulled right out from EL James' 2012 novel of the same name. The clip opens with a brief scene starring the movie's lead stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan

"Fifty Shades Darker": continuing from where we left off

In the first movie, Christian introduced Ana to his family and drops everything to surprise her while she's visiting her mother. This was all happening while his interest in her still lies far from a traditional relationship. After a night of intense sexual punishment, Ana decides it's too much for her to handle and leaves a disheartened Christian alone -  again, in his luxurious bachelor pad (via People).

Now, this is where "Fifty Shades Darker" picks up the pace, as Ana and Christian's split doesn't even last that long. In fact, as Ana settles into her new publishing job, Christian makes major moves to get her back, even without a contract.

"Fifty Shades Darker": is something missing in the masquerade?
Now, going to the new "Fifty Shades Darker". Universal Pictures came out with a behind the scenes glimpse of the masquerade ball scene with Dornan, Johnson, and director James Foley talking about it.

One question raised by Cosmopolitan seemed interesting, as there was something that wasn't addressed by the leads and the director. Johnson's character has two Ben Wa balls inside of her for most of the evening. Yes, those Burnese balls used for kegel exercises. For sure she removed them later on but how could someone possibly sit through the whole meal with those?

These balls are a vital part of Ana and Christian's relatioship, so probably it's a sign that she's ready to meet him halfway, as long as he agrees to her terms? Interesting. Good thing the movie releases next week.
