"Pokemon Duel" Gives a Glimpse on "Pokemon GO" PvP Battle Feature

Niantic has been tight-lipped about the PvP Battle, the most requested feature of "Pokemon GO". However, the hype began to roll again when the "Pokemon Duel", a strategic digital board game was released few days ago.

"Pokemon Duel" can be downloaded for free for iOS and Android users. To get to the opponent's side first is the ultimate goal of the game and to be able to do that, six Pokemons are assigned to each player that can be evolved, assembled and customized for the match according to The Verge.

When two monsters faced each other in a match, each one of them can perform the moves based on the spinning wheel and the player will lose if his monster knocks off from the board by the opponent. What's makes the game more interesting is when the player began to strategize on how to use each Pokemons which has different abilities and for this reason, speculations suggest that "Pokemon Duel" gives the players a glimpse on "Pokemon GO" PvP Battle feature.

To be able to win on the game, "Pokemon Duel" players should know the following tips and tricks as suggested by Recombu:

  • It's important to check the stats of each prospect Pokemon before choosing them and power them up before putting them into the team.
  • Playing all the way through all training strengthens the Pokemon of choice which will give them the chance to gain three stars grade.
  • During the match, apply some smart strategies such as surrounding the opponents, put your moves into timing, pair the Pokemons properly according to their stats and transferring them.
