Huawei Honor 6X Launches; What Else To Look Forward To Aside From Dual Rear Camera

By

The Huawei Honor 5X was received warmly when it released in early 2016. Now, here comes the Honor 6X. Let's see the features you could look forward to from this new offering from Huawei.

According to Tech Radar, Huawei wants to replicate the success of the Honor 5X, with a handful of tweaks and a similarly low price. Although there's tough competition from Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus, one question to consider is, could the Honor 6X compete? Lets's meet the Honor 6X, shall we?

Honor 6X price and release date

The Honor 6X is now available in the UK and US, although there are no confirmations yet if it will be coming to Australia in the future.

Honor 6X: what else is there aside from the dual rear camera?

According to Indian Express, the unique selling point for the Honor 6X is its dual rear camera. The rear camera setup includes a 12-megapixel primary camera and a secondary, 2-megapixel sensor. So what else is there aside from this?

One factor to look at is the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone. Phones at this price point still don't all have the added security of a fingerprint scanner. So the Honor 6X having one is definitely a pro. Although being on the back could mean that it's in a useful position when you have the phone in your hand, but could be irritating if you put your phone down a lot on desks.

The phone's design is also something to appreciate. Unlike most of the phones at this price range, the Honor 6X has managed to include a metal unibody design, which gives it a slightly premium feel.

Are you a Huawei user? Will you be getting an Honor 6X?
