‘Arrow’ Season 5 Refreshers Before Jan. 25 Return; Losing Spartan In Episode 12 Will Catapult ‘Arrow’s” Storyline

Fans will now have to make its final judgment of whether "Arrow" Season 5 Episode 10 will be as good as the trailer has projected it to be since the season will have its premier today, Jan. 25. It can be recalled that this season features complicated plotlines that will direct varied projections of where the story will be heading.

But before its return to television, it is fitting to remember once again story angles that have made fans glued to Team Arrow all the more. First stop is the return of Black Canary. Fans had a sneak peak of Laurel Lance's return in trailer released by CW Network. Together with Oliver, fans also wondered if it is really her on the loose alive and kicking, Inverse reported.

Based on the trailer it may not be Canary at all but Black Siren. This plot obviously suggests that trouble is looming now that Siren has escaped. Another angle is the persistent presence of Vigilante. The source added that knowledgeable fans already know the identity of Vigilante and it is no other than the district attorney Adrian Chase. He is yet to be apprehended and kept off the streets by the Green Arrow.

The third angle is Prometheus. Reports claimed that he is the illegitimate son of Justin Claybourne, a despicable pharmaceutical CEO on Season 1. Aside from Prometheus managing to turn Evelyn Sharpe against her team, Team Arrow will also lose their Spartan as he faces a court martial.

It can be recalled that the past episode of "Arrow" shows Diggle basically framed by his corrupt commanding officer in the military, EW has reported. According to executive producer Marc Guggenheim, Diggle's predicament will start the storyline that is going to carry "Arrow" through episode 512. The episode is set to premier on Feb. 8.

Guggenheim confirmed that there is going to be a long tail storyline that is instored for Diggle this year.
