Falls's No. 1 rated new series "This Is Us" just received good some good news, as it was just renewed for two seasons. Yes, the hit show from NBC just got green lit for Seasons 2 and 3. Here's what the cast has to say.

"This Is Us": viewership

According to Forbes , a total of 72 million viewers have watched the first 10 episodes on all platforms. As the most awaited new series heading into fall, the trailer was viewed more than 105 million times following the show's announcement in May.

Linear viewership, plus those from all devices, of the pilot episode since Sept. 20 stands at an estimated 10.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic, with the show averaging an estimated 8.3 rating in 18-49 per the most current data. "This Is Us" originals are averaging a 4.6 rating in adults 18-49 and 14.6 million viewers overall in the live plus seven day results from Nielsen Media Research, making it the No. 1 new show of the season in 18-49 and television's No. 4 entertainment series in that key demographic.

Jennifer Salke, NBC Entertainment president, said that the show is as good as anything they have ever had. Management is indeed proud that "This Is Us" is one of the highest-rated shows, even if there are so many other dramas around, she added.

Initial buzz for show foretold its success with a high engagement on social media and enthusiastic reviews from critics, including Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times, and TV Guide. On digital platforms, the show is the network's most-watched series premiere. With more than double of NBC's past record for most one-day views of a series premiere beyond the network's digital platforms.

"This Is Us": they love Milo

Per E! News, the cast members just can't stop gushing about Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jack. His co-stars can't seem to stop singing him praises, as they look up to him as their leader. Chrissy Metz, who plays Ventimiglia's daughter Kate, said that he is the best captain for any ship and that she is grateful for the friendship, for his advice, and for his knowledge as well. He does everything without ego, she added.

Co-star Mandy Moore, (who shares makority of her screentime with Ventimiglia as his wife Rebecca) said, that not only is he a leader, but a source of vital information while they are on set. He knows everything and everybody loves him.

Probably the most-heartwearming of all, Sterling K. Brown, who plays the role of Jack and Rebecca's adopted son, Randall said that Ventimiglia is really one of the best human beings he has met in my life.
