Although the exact release date of the most talked about Samsung Galaxy S8 is still unknown, loyal fans and followers of the premium smartphone brand have started weighing the reasons why the 2017 flagship smartphone is worth the wait. The following reasons will provide justification why Samsung Galaxy S8 is set to dethrone Galaxy S7:

High-Performing Specs

Samsung and Qualcomm have reportedly collaborated to fuel the Galaxy S8 with the latest and most powerful chipset Snapdragon 835 and Exynos chips. A 6GB of RAM is said to back up the chipsets alongside 64GB of onboard storage, higher than Apple's 32GB internal storage capacity according to BGR.

Groundbreaking Features

Feature-wise, Galaxy S8 will sport a force-sensitive panel, water and dust resistance, USB-C ports, wireless charging and iris scanning technology. The premium handset is also expected to debut its newest digital assistant called "Bixby" (powered by Viv Lab) with functionalities greater than Apple's Siri, Microsoft's Cortana and Google Assistant.

Moreover, Galaxy S8 is also said to have support for S-Pen, the most valued feature of the Galaxy S line up ever since according to Forbes. Added to that is the rumored elimination of headphone jack and physical home button to give way to bezel-less display. 

Gigantic Display

Galaxy S8 is rumored to sport a gigantic display with screen size of 5.7-inch and considered as the "largest" ever display for Galaxy S line. Furthermore, Galaxy S8 Plus is said to be an addition to the Galaxy S line up which also feature a huge display at 6.2-inch.

Upgraded "S" Health App

Galaxy S8 is said to sport a fully upgraded "S" Health app where users are enable to set-up appointments with certified doctors. According to Daily Mail, the app also offers features such as paying doctor bills through credit card and dial 911 in case of emergency.

4K Video Streaming

Samsung is said to do away with Quad HD (2560 x 1440) displays and will resort to 4K resolution to accommodate Virtual Reality gaming. According to Mashable, 4K display is consist of Super AMOLED with resolution of 3840 x 2160.
