'Friday The 13th: The Game' Adds 'Jason 6' To Killer Roster; Gun Media Panel At PAX South 2017 Detailed! [VIDEO]

Most fans and avid gamers are thrilled about the developments being announced for the upcoming horror game "Friday the 13th: The Game," which has revealed to fans a lot of additional characters throughout its development phase. That being said, it was recently announced that the game will be adding "Jason 6" to its killer roster. In other news, these same fans can also catch the developers behind the highly-anticipated game with Gun Media's panel at the upcoming PAX South this 2017, according to sources.

It was previously reported that "Friday the 13th: The Game" have released a new character back in December, University Herald noted. It was stated therein that Gun Media released a new trailer for the game that featured the inclusion of the iconic character Tommy Jarvis. Moreover, it was said that bringin in the character was a way for the developers to cater to their fans' requests.

That being said, it was recently reported that another new character will be added to the roster of "Friday the 13th: The Game," Gamerant has learned. It was stated therein that both Gun Media and Illfonic have announced the addition of "Jason 6" in the game. To those unfamiliar with the franchise, the announcement states that the Jason Voorhees version portrayed in "Friday the 13th, Part 6: Jason Lives" movie will be added in the killer roster of the game.

Moreover, fans can check out the accompanying video that was released when "Jason 6" was announced to be included in "Friday the 13th: The Game." As such, fans can catch a glimpse of a gameplay footage that depicts Jason wearing his classic ensemble from the sixth installment of the movie franchise.

In other news, fans can also check out the "Friday the 13th: The Game" as it gets featured in the upcoming PAX South 2017 with Gun Media doing a panel during the event, GameRevolution reported. It was said that the event will take place in San Antonio, TX from Jan. 27 to 29. Despite the game not having a booth at the event, it was said that the developers will be announcing some beta-related updated for all of its fans.
