By

The "NCIS" season 14's Christmas-themed episode will telecast this week, and the holiday special of the American television series will find Ducky (portrayed by David McCallum) questioning a life-changing choice the character made almost four decades ago. The focus of the season 14 episode shifts squarely on the original supporting character, Ducky.

Following the Congresswoman and her murdered personal aid last week, the upcoming episode of "NCIS" will find the NCIS team conducting an investigation of the murder of a Navy captain. In the "NCIS" season 14 episode 10, which is dubbed as The Tie that Binds, the NCIS team, led by Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon), find evidence at the crime scene that links with Ducky's deceased mother.

In the upcoming season 14 episode 10 of the American TV series, Ducky's late mother will make her presence felt when the NCIS team finds the address of Ducky in the murder victim's pocket. This leads the NCIS team to later make a connection between the late Victoria Mallard and the dead man.

As the investigation of the NCIS team continues, Ducky finds himself recalling his life as a young man and questioning a life-changing decision he made 37 years ago. The upcoming season 14 episode 10 is also said to flashback to the days when the NCIS Chief Medical Examiner served as a doctor in the army.

Meanwhile, Adam Campbell will return to the American action police TV series to reprise his role as a young Ducky. Joe Spano will also return to portray the Senior FBI Agent TC Fornell, Spoiler TV reported.

Nonetheless, despite the new murder case, the American TV series won't be all heartache and death. The upcoming special "NCIS" season 14 will also find the NCIS team sampling new eggnog concoctions, exchanging holiday gifts, as well as Gibbs will have Christmas dinner with Fornell, according to TV Guide.
