Samsung Galaxy S8 is a highly-awaited smartphone that will be unveiled next year. After investigating the latest rumors and updates, here's what to expect.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Specs: No Headphone Jack

iPhone 7 sans jack has already created hatred and now, Samsung is planning to do the same. Sammobile, an ever-accurate source of leaks, has claimed that Galaxy S8 will be shipped without 3.5 mm headphone jack.

In return, Galaxy S8 will be integrated with stereo speakers for audio enhancement and the faithful can expect a sound system - as impressive as Harman can offer.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Specs: Non-Removable Battery

Galaxy S8 will pack a non-removable battery just like its predecessors, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6. In term of capacity, there will likely be a small gain from Galaxy S7 battery.

While this is ahead of iPhone 7, it seems that the two giants don't bother to make a huge overhaul in their flagships.

Tech crowds are expecting a display upgrade instead of using the same resolution. We've heard rumors about its 4K resolution but apparently it's not going to happen. As a reminder, Apple hasn't moved beyond 1080p and this has disappointed the loyals.

One thing that will make Galaxy S8 different from iPhone 7 would be the presence of USB Type C Port.

Galaxy S8 will rely on USB type C port for charging and music listening session. USB C is a relatively new and it will be the holy grail in tablets and laptops next year, CNET has learned.

The device will sport an Octa-Core Snapdragon chip and 6GB RAM. Galaxy S8 may arrive with a whopping $850 price tag. Let's just hope the stereo speakers and 2K display are worth the value.
