GOG Winter Sales Begins With Free Neverwinter Night Diamond, New Deals And Promotions Also Coming

GOG this week has announced the start of its annual Winter Sale, with hundreds of deals and some gifts, including a free copy of Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition. The Monstrous Winter Sale will feature hundreds of deals across the site along with a free copy of BioWare's old role-playing Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition.

According to Dual Shocker, the Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition has been offered free for all in the first 48 hours of the sale. To get the free stuff, players need to do is visit GOG.com to claim their BioWare Dungeons & Dragons classic.

The Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition includes the game with three expansions, Shadows of Undrentide, Hordes of the Underdark and lasts the Kingmaker. Additionally, the free offering also includes three manuals in PDF, 28 avatars, sixteen wallpapers in HD, soundtrack, 77 artwork and digital map, all free of charge for but for 48 hours only.

During this monstrous Winter Sale event, players could get a chance to earn XP for every dollar spent, for checking in daily and for collecting badges throughout the event. When a certain level of XP threshold is reached a free game is unlocked. With the acquired XP points, PC gamers can now able to play the free games, Shadow Warrior Classic Redux, Shadowrun Dragonfall, and the Stasis.

In addition, GOG is also offering a number of "build-your-own" bundles that allows the player to create their bundles with multiple titles from a common theme.

As mentioned earlier by Eurogame.net, there will new deals added during the sale, which will end on Dec. 11, just ahead of the planned Steam Winter Sale later this year.

During the sales event, new promotions will also be added. These include the "Witcher 3:" Game of the Year edition, "The Witness," "Dying Light" Enhanced Edition," "Civilization 4," "Firewatch" and the "Darksiders" Warmastered Edition.
