OnePlus 3 was introduced a few months ago and it's received positive reviews. The Chinese phone maker just launched OnePlus 3T - the flagship competitor that's ready to take the throne.

OnePlus 3 vs OnePlus 3T: Design

There is no significant change on the outward appearance. Both smartphones are sleek with metal body and weigh 158 grams. The 5.5 inch smartphones are protected by Gorrila Glass 4 and each has 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and 401 ppi pixel density.

OnePlus has upped the specs in OnePlus 3T.

OnePlus 3T runs Android Nougat whilst its predecessor runs Marshmallow. Another difference is in the processor. The 3T variant is powered by Snapdragon 821 instead of 820 like in the older sibling, GSM Arena reported.

 OnePlus 3T is clocked higher at 2.35 GHz, which means a much faster phone performance.

OnePlus 3 pairs 64 GB internal storage with 6 GB RAM. OnePlus 3 is offered in two variants, one of which pairs 128 GB internal memory with 6 GB RAM.

OnePlus 3T rear camera still gets the same 16 MP just like OnePlus 3 however it receives a efw improvements on the software. The 3T packs 16 MP rear shooter with EIS software - the one you see in Google Pixel. It is able to record 4K video and the quality of the image shows little noise in low light condition, Forbes reported.

What is even better is its selfie-shooter has the same 16 MP quality. It is also a big upgrade from OnePlus 3 front camera that only packs 8 MP shooter.

The battery is another upgrade that OnePlus 3T receives. Packing 3,400 mAh capacity, it is more than 10 percent increase from OnePlus 3. Both feature Dash charge.
