Gamers around the world are currently waiting to hear more about the details of Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio, and just recently, Microsoft's own Phil Spencer has pitched in a number of details about what the gamers will expect from the console.

Commenting on Xbox Scorpio's ongoing development, the Xbox boss made it known that the Xbox Scorpio is currently making amazing progress. Spencer also added that he along with the development team are feeling good about the new gaming platform's development with regards to its timeline.

Anyway, the tech monster is already touting Xbox Scorpio's impressive specs, claiming the new gaming platform as the most powerful console ever. Wherein, players who decide to purchase the Xbox Scorpio can look forward to having 4K gaming experiences made possible by the device's internal components. Microsoft has already revealed that the console will offer 6 teraflops of power to go with 320 gigabyte of memory, according to Xbox.

Since Xbox Scorpio is going to be more powerful than the Xbox One S, Spencer suggests that it won't be cheap. But for now, the exact price point of Xbox Scorpio remains a mystery.

The Xbox boss stated that they expect both of Xbox One S and Project Scorpio to hit the market at the same time. However, there's a clear performance and a price difference between the two consoles, Game Spot reported.

On the other hand, one of the biggest differences between the two high-end consoles, PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio, is that PS4 Pro is imminent while Scorpio is not. In which, Sony announced that PS4 Pro will be released on Nov. 10, 2016, while Microsoft currently plans to make its new console up for grabs in the holiday season of 2017.

That being said, both Sony and Microsoft made it known that during the launch of PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio, the consoles wouldn't get exclusive games.
