Surface Book 2 is the 2017 laptop flagship of Microsoft following its predecessor the Surface Book. Rumored to be powered by Intel Kaby Lake that means more advantages will be offered by Surface Book 2. Since the laptop will be released in mid-2017 which among MacBook Pro 2016 and the rumored MacBook Pro 2017 will be its tough competitor?

Surface Book 2 is the predecessor of the highly successful Surface Book manufactured by Microsoft. Surface Books are living testament of Microsoft innovation when it comes to laptop. For this matter, the tech giant and windows maker is gearing towards a powerful laptop flagship for 2017. The inclusion of Intel Kaby Lake chipset is highly possible according to The Country Caller. Intel's latest generation of processing chipset provides a boost in computational performance as well as improve the battery performance.

Aside from the latest processing scheme, Surface Book 2 will also run the Windows 10 Redstone the upcoming operating system that targets to enhance the system performance. Speculations suggesting that the latest laptop will have an upgraded screen display to 4k resolution. Furthermore, the user experience is expected to improve due to sturdier hinge incorporated with Surface Book 2.

For this reason, Surface Book 2 will find great competitors such as MacBook Pro 2016 and the rumored MacBook Pro 2017. The former has been confirmed to be run by Intel Skylake chipsets whereas the latter is rumored to run by Intel Kaby Lake.  Surface Book 2 is expected to debut in the spring of 2017 together with Surface Pro 5 tablet according to CNET that's why it has become the recipient of Kaby Lake series.

MacBook Pro laptop brand is considered to be the most powerful laptop of this generation. Now with Microsoft Surface Book 2 arising, Apple is probably gearing towards the possibility of defeat most especially that the latest laptop is built with Kaby Lake.
