"The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) for the week Aug. 16-19 will highlight Chloe and her decision to divulge a shocking matter. Chelsea will find out the real score behind it, while Adam will lose his hope. Victoria, amidst all, will continue to execute her secret mission.

Chloe will want to start over again in Genoa City, but his conspiracy with Victor against Adam worries her, Soap Central reported. Previously, "Young and the Restless" showed Paul (Doug Davidson) telling his son, Dylan (Steve Burton), that he does not deserve to wear his badge unless he learns to work within its system. The scene is in relation to Paul's discovery of Dylan's secret investigation on what really happened to the murder allegedly committed by Adam (Justin Hartley).

Now that Dylan has been suspended from the force, "Young and the Restless" will see Dylan's continued investigation but this time, he can no longer get resources from the police department. However, he is not the only one fighting for Adam. Others do not just believe that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is behind Adam's troubles.

"Young and the Restless" saw Victor (Eric Braden) telling Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) that he is on their side and is the only person who can help them find a way to free Adam. In the previous episode, Chelsea invited Chloe to live in her penthouse after believing Chloe that she no longer hold grudges against Adam over Delia's death. However, Chelsea still blames Victor for her husband's problems, She Knows reported.

Despite being told that Adam's case was closed, Dylan is still looking into who may have helped frame Adam for a murder he did not commit. Dylan did not give up trying to prove that Adam was just framed even after he already confessed to the crime. The "Young and the Restless" saw Adam taking a plea deal when he saw that there is no other way out of his situation.

Now that both of them have become very suspicious when they saw Chloe return to town, they absolutely believe she was the one who helped Victor in the frame up. They believe that Chloe just turned on Victor when he no longer wanted to frame his son but he failed to show the diary pages that are needed to free Adam.
