'Crackdown 3' Release Date Delayed till 2017: Here's Why You Should be Glad!

"Crackdown 3" release date is delayed until sometime in 2017. The gameplay did not make any appearance at the E3 2016 and there are possible reasons why it is postponed.

Creative director of Crackdown 3 gameplay, Dave Jones confirmed the news on its official website, stating that there are many reasons why it cannot be released this year.

To create a better gameplay quality, Jones promised that the 2017 is the timeline that meets the goal to deliver the best experience for players, Windows Central reported. And since everyone is eager to be Agents, this enhanced experience is a commitment that the developer will deliver next year.

"Crackdown 3" will be available for Windows 10 and Xbox One

It is good news that the Crackdown 3 gameplay will be launched on both Xbox One console and Windows 10. This means it is an Xbox Play Anywhere. After spending time creating the environments for the multiplayer, the developer found that the creation is possible through Microsoft Cloud and Xbox Live. This means that players will be able to play on both devices.

It seems that all of the Crackdown 3 release date rumors were not true since the gameplay did not show up at E3 2016. The early predictions on the game thought that it would show fans, a glimpse on the Crackdown 3 gameplay improvements. The fans were expecting the game to be playable at E3 and many speculations seemed to hint on that rumor, too. The trailer released previously also confirmed the news albeit a sudden announcement to postpone. According to the creative director, the top priority is to give the fans "never before seen at a scale never thought possible."

"Crackdown 3" Play Initiative

Crackdown 3 will not be the only one that gamers can play cross devices. Other games that will use this feature are "Gears of War 4" and "Forza Horizon 3", Yibada reported.
