Ubisoft was excited to report that a new "Assassin's Creed" game will be coming next year. It will have different live services compared to other game titles that the game company has published recently.

Ubisoft CFO Discusses Upcoming "Assassin's Creed" Title

Ubisoft CFO Alain Martinez discussed briefly during Ubisoft's financial conference call for analysts and investors about their new "Assassin's Creed" game. It will be released this coming fiscal year, which will be before March 31, 2018, Dual Shockers reported.

Upcoming Title Will Have Different Live Services

Martinez was asked during the conference about the upcoming video game if it will feature live services. He responded that all of their published titles will have live operations, even if there will be different types. He explained that each of the recent titles like "Ghost Recon" and "Rainbow Six" have different kinds of live operation, and it will be different for their upcoming "Assassin's Creed" title.

Ubisoft Aims To Achieve Over 25 Percent Of Its Revenue

All upcoming games are now following a philosophy that will justify and bring live operations for a long life, as long as it fits for the game. Ubisoft wants to achieve over 25 percent this time around of their revenue, which comes from their recurring player investment. They revealed that their new "Assassin's Creed" title will be included in that percentage.

The upcoming game is still a mystery since the game company has not divulged any information in relation to it. Some fans speculate that it will be set in Egypt and it will be the origins of the organization known as the Assassins.

Ubisoft Promises New Info On "Far Cry 5" Soon

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot denied commenting on the rumored western setting of their upcoming game title, "Far Cry 5." However, he promised that more information will come pouring in very soon and it will comfort their investors about the game's potential, Dual Shockers reported in another post.
