After various complaints and news articles about the strict rules of "Persona 5" streaming and screen captures, Atlus has finally given in. They have now loosened the rules a bit, and some fans are pretty happy about the development.

Atlus Apologizes For "Persona 5" Strict Policies

Atlus has finally realized that the policies they have implemented earlier for the "Persona 5" streaming and screen captures were not making anyone happy. They were dismayed that it made some negative feedback from the solid fans of the game franchise, and now they are making some improvements to the policies, the game company posted on its official website.

Atlus was surprised that there were numerous reactive news articles, and opinion videos. They also received tons of emails from fans that pleaded with them to change their streaming policy.

Atlus Changes "Persona 5" Video/Streaming Policies For The Better

Atlus has now recognized that their fans are the reason why "Persona 5" is a major worldwide success it is now. They still want to continue to want their fans to enjoy the game without being spoiled, which is why they have now decided to revise their policies, Gamespot reported.

The game company now asks their fans to refrain from streaming or posting videos past the end of the in-game date of 11/19. This is the date where the main story is now starting the final act, which is understandable.

Atlus Apologizes For "Persona 5" Guidelines Looking Threatening

Several "Persona 5" fans were dismayed of the policies in the first place because their guidelines looked like threats from Atlus. They have now apologized for that, but they also explained that they wanted to be transparent about what they do, and they wanted the streamers to know the right information at the start. It was not their intention to threaten people with copyright strikes, but they admitted that they chose the wrong tone for how they communicate with this.

Atlus Still Not Lifting PS4 Share Button For "Persona 5"

While Atlus has now given some leeway to the "Persona 5" fans that have high-end streaming capabilities, it does not mean that the PlayStation 4 Share button is now enabled. It is still disabled, which means it will still be difficult to save screenshots or videos from the game.

"Persona 5" Mod Adds Characters To "GTA" Game

In other "Persona 5" related news, a "GTA San Andreas" modder has ripped character models from "P5." This mod allows players of the game's PC version to turn their main character into Ann, Makoto, Yusuke, and Joker, Kotaku reported.
