"Outlast 2" has a price tag of $29.99 on Steam, while the original game costs $19.99. Buying the sequel on the Humble Bundle Store can save interested buyers a lot of money, PC Gamer reported.

Several reviewers have already played "Outlast 2" and they have positive reactions to it. Some of them say that it is a beautiful horror game to play with great graphics, and fluid gameplay. The horror experience alone makes up for the full price of the game, which is quite affordable.

"Outlast 2" Recordings Played Backwards Reveal Secret Audio

In other "Outlast 2" related news, players have uncovered that the recordings in a certain area of the game have secret messages in it if it is played backwards. When they enter the dream-like school environment, there are certain areas that have mysterious audio, which can be recorded through the camera, but it results in unintelligible nonsense audio. When played backwards, it is totally something else, Gameranx reported.

Some of the messages from the weird audio recordings are still a mystery, but some give away some parts of the "Outlast 2" story. Some of the messages are quite dark to understand, which makes the game scarier than usual.
