After a lot of harsh criticisms from the fans and the critics of "Mass Effect Andromeda," Lead Designer Ian Frazier expressed his dismay of this negative feedback that they have received so far. He found it unbearable to read the comments, especially from the fans.

Lead Designer Response On "Mass Effect Andromeda" Criticism

Frazier said that while he could not speak for the rest of the development team of "Mass Effect Andromeda," he found it hard to read some of the feedback from the players. However, the ability to talk with their fans is something they also want to happen because it is valuable information for their studio, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.

"Mass Effect Andromeda" Development Team Wants To Help

The lead designer also revealed that the team wanted to help the fans of "Mass Effect Andromeda," which is the reason why they are out there on social media and on forums, reading their posts. They try to troubleshoot the issues the players are having or give some of them a hint on something they are having difficulties with. He revealed that in order to help those people, they would have to dig deeper into those forums and try to find the posts that are not just about insults, which is not fun at all for them, Just Push Start reported.

Frazier Thanks "Mass Effect Andromeda" Fans For Feedback

Frazier thanked the fans of "Mass Effect Andromeda" for their support and the feedback they give. They think that having feedback from fans on a broad spectrum is an advantage. Despite the criticisms, BioWare is still set in the post-launch plans for the video game.

"Mass Effect Andromeda" Almost Had Procedural Design

In other "Mass Effect Andromeda" related news, Frazier also revealed that BioWare's development team explored a procedural design for the video game. They did not implement the idea because it did not produce any satisfactory results, especially in the narrative part of the game. They wanted the players to have a moment-to-moment experience in the game, which is why they dropped the idea, PlayStation Lifestyle reported in another post.
