Android Wear 2.0 will be launched by Google in the future on smart watches, but it was a bit delayed due to a bug that they found. After launching it on the first three watches, six more will get the update soon.

Three Smart Watches Get Android Wear 2.0 First

The first watches that will get the update were the Fossil Q Founder, Casio Smart Outdoor Watch, and the Tag Heuer Connected. The rollout is currently on its way, but it should be available to all countries by April 4, confirmed Google on its official forums.

Android Wear 2.0 Launch Delayed On The rest Of The Smart Watches

Many fans of the Android smart watches have been wondering why Google has not launched Android Wear 2.0 yet on the other smartwatch models. It turns out that after launching on the first three models, they found out in the final testing phase that there was a major bug that needed fixing. It was promised that they will push the update to the remaining devices as soon as the issue is resolved.

What Kind Of Bug Caused The Delay?

Fans are currently speculating on what kind of bug caused the delay of the rollout, despite the official announcement by Google before the discovery. Some think that it is due to the Snapdragon chipsets that are inside the smart watches, but that should not be the case. One example is the Polar M600, which has a MediaTek MT2601 processor, and it is the only Android watch to contain this.

Six More Android Smart Watches To Get Android Wear 2.0

Google also revealed that there will be six more Android smart watches that will get the Android Wear 2.0 in the future. The other six watches are the Fossil Q Wander and Marshal, Michael Kors ACCESS Bradshaw and Dylan, Nixon the Mission, and the Polar M600, Slash Gear reported.

What The Android Wear 2.0 Features Offer To Consumers

The Android Wear 2.0 will allow the smartwatch owners to add information from apps to the always-on watch face on the device. One tap on the screen will open their favorite apps, and they can also download them on the Google Play Store. There is also the Google Fit app that will allow them to track their pace, distance, and many other features.
