Square Enix announced two special editions of "Final Fantasy XII" The Zodiac Age during the 2017 PAX East panel.

"Final Fantasy XII" arrives on July 11 alongside its Limited and Collector's editions. On the other hand, the first print run of the Standard variant includes a limited reversible coversheet with an artwork from Akihiko Yoshida. Those who pre-ordered the game online from PlayStation Store also receives a static PS4 system theme and four tracks by Hitoshi Sakimoto.

'Final Fantasy XII': Collector's Edition

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the Collector's Edition of "Final Fantasy XII" will be worth about $200. It is available exclusively through the Square Enix Online. Fans who want to purchase the Collector's Edition acquire an exclusive "Judge Magisters" Mini Bust Set, six Art Cards, and a digital code to unlock the game's official background music.

The "Judge Magisters" include busts of Bergan, Drace, Gabranth, Ghis, and Zargabaath. Consequently, the Art Cards feature Vaan, Ashe, Basch, Fran & Balthier, Penelo, and World of Ivalice. Meanwhile, the Collector's Edition of "Final Fantasy XII" provides an exclusive Steelbook with elite drawings that are yet to be revealed.

Per the same source, on March 23, owners of the "World of Final Fantasy" will be permitted to download Balthier from "Final Fantasy XII". Balthier will play in it as a champion summon. Lastly, the upcoming Collector's Edition adds a set of soundtracks from Sakimoto and a copy of the game itself too.

'Final Fantasy XII': Limited Edition

Gaming Age reported that the Final Fantasy XII is available for pre-order as well for around $50 only. For one thing, it offers another exclusive Steelbook with artworks from Yoshida. Finally, the Limited Edition will also feature a digital code to the game's official background music plus a copy of "The Zodiac Age" itself.

For the record, the artworks by Yoshida are the Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XIV, and NieR Automata. Square Enix, during the 2017 PAX East Panel, then shared interesting details about Final Fantasy XII. Players can now switch between the original and re-orchestrated background music in the settings. Now, users can speed up the game or display the map on screen by pressing the L1 and L3 button respectively.
