Mark Zuckerberg will finally attend the graduation rites at Harvard University. Not as a student, though, but as the guest speaker.

Facebook and Microsoft really changed the way we live our lives. However, a few of us know that the founders of these tech breakthroughs are college dropouts. Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates qualified but did not graduate at Harvard University.

Mark Zuckerberg & Bill Gates: Harvard University video

While most commencement exercises are sober, Harvard University wants to make this one a little more radical. The prestigious institution recently released a video featuring Mark Zuckerberg and another renowned successful dropout, Mr. Gates. In it, the former suddenly gets invited to be Harvard's graduation guest.

Unfortunately, CNET reported that Mark Zuckerberg looks awkward when acting. Mr. Gates even played it better than him in the Harvard University teaser clip. Well, obviously, the latter has already developed the skill to work in front of the camera.

Given that Mark Zuckerberg is not the most engaging speaker and actor, he asks Mr. Gates for tips and ideas on what to say at the graduation ceremony. Harvard University confirmed that the event will happen on May 25. Until then, the 32-year-old tech mogul has to learn how to connect with his audience. Otherwise, his speech might not get very desirable reactions.

Here's why Harvard University chose Mark Zuckerberg

According to the Harvard Gazette, University President Drew Faust said that Mark Zuckerberg has "profoundly altered the nature of social engagement" on a global scale. That alone gives him the right to step on the podium come the 366th commencement exercises of Harvard University. Faust also noted that "few inventions in modern times can rival Facebook in its far-reaching impact" on human relations.

On the other hand, Faust acknowledged the commitment of Mark Zuckerberg to science advancement, education enhancement, and opportunity expansion through the pursuit of philanthropy. "I greatly look forward to welcoming Mark back to Harvard on Commencement day," he ended.

Mark Zuckerberg enrolled at Harvard University 15 years ago. During his sophomore year, he and his friends created "thefacebook.com", a networking site exclusive to Harvard students. His company later moved to Palo Alto, California to rebrand their product as a global service. Zuckerberg originally intended to return to Harvard, but the abrupt success of his enterprise required much of his time and energy.
