When Natalie Dormer departed the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones," her character Margaery Tyrell literally went out with a bang, no thanks to Cersei Lannister. Her character may be dead now in "Game of Thrones," but the wizards at BioWare turned her into an Asari doctor onboard the tempest in "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

Dormer first played a video game character in the video game version of "Game of Thrones" where she reprised her role as Margaery Tyrell back in 2014. This time around, she plays Lexi T'Perro in BioWare's "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

T'Perro is the first person "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" lead to wake up to after a 600-year cryosleep. Her function is similar to Dr. Chakwas of "Mass Effect: Trilogy" serving as the resident doctor of the main ship. Additionally, she also functions as the ship's counselor; players can go to for advice, according to Polygon.

Dormer got involved in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" when she was approached. Admittedly, she is ignorant of gaming and was not quite aware what a big deal it was. She said yes to the project due to her limited knowledge of gaming she says she got intrigued. Her friends, who are all big gamers, clued her in on why playing a character in "Mass Effect" is a big deal.

According to Wired, Dormer says, doing behind-the-camera duties is addictive. Having worked with so many people in the industry, she is obsessed with storytelling. Another "Game of Thrones" star, Gethin Anthony who played Renly Baratheon in the series, joins Dormer. Anthony will voice Gil in "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

Apart from Dormer and Anthony, another TV and movie actor will join them in "Mass Effect: Andromeda," Clancy Brown will voice Ryder's father.

Andromeda is scheduled for launch on March 21 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
