The Nintendo Switch is an innovative hybrid console, whose selling point is that it can be taken off its dock and be played anywhere. It got so many people hyped during its video introduction that made many exclaim, "Take my money!"

However, you might just want to hold on to that $300 just a little bit longer, for here are five reasons not to buy the Nintendo Switch - for now.

1) Battery life - Nintendo claims the Switch console can last up to six hours depending on usage conditions of course. A more realistic claim is that it can run roughly for three hours. Experts, who got an early go of the switch, report that its battery lasts between two hours and 50 minutes to three hours and three minutes.

The Nintendo switch reportedly reached 49 percent charge within the hour in the dock; however, no data is available how much charge it gets if done through USB-C, Gamespot . Also, note that the Switch's battery is non-removable, if something goes wrong; it has to be sent to the shop to have it replaced.

2) Nintendo Switch is not compatible with Bluetooth headsets - It might have wireless controllers but the Switch does not support Bluetooth headset. Initial reports cite that it would, according to Nintendo executive Yoshiaki Koizumi, as reported by French website Melty. However, follow-up reports clarified this detail citing there was an error in translation.

3) Reported left Joy-Con connectivity issues - outlets who have been giving early impressions of the Nintendo Switch report they have having connectivity issues with the Switch's left controller when it is docked or is placed in the Joy-Con Grip. Kotaku's Jason Schreier also reported a similar issue and stated that it could be severe if the problem is not related to firmware.

Games Radar reported Nintendo plans to release an upgrade for the Nintendo Switch on launch day, March 3. If the problem is indeed from firmware, this should fix it, if not; it would be bad for the much-hyped system and Nintendo.

4) Nintendo Switch will not have a Virtual Console library at launch - though reportedly capable of having one. Nintendo reportedly stated that information regarding a Virtual Console would be shared in the future. This would mean would be owners have no recourse but to wait when they would be able to play retro games like on the Wii U.

5) Nintendo Switch 32GB internal memory - by now people know that downloading AAA game on the Switch would be impossible due to its limited memory. Users have to purchase separate microSDHC if they want to play games larger than what can be handled by the Switch. However, inconvenient as it may be, there is still an advantage to other home consoles, as reported earlier here.
