Coming alongside a movie due for showing this March, a multiplayer fighting game for mobile devices called "Power Rangers: Legacy Wars" will also be unveiled.

"Power Rangers: Legacy Wars" will come for iOS and Android devices and will feature characters from the long-running TV series. Due to the tie-in with the coming "Power Rangers" movie, the Rangers featured in the game will be based on the iterations that will be featured in the film, according to Gamespot.

"Power Rangers: Legacy Wars" allows players to control various Rangers from different timelines and story arcs, which will include the coming movie adaptation, the original TV series. The most iconic Rangers of the "Power Rangers" multiverse will be featured in the fighting game.

"Power Rangers: Legacy Wars" game details

The main antagonist of the game is space witch Rita Repulsa, who has infected the Morphin Grid. In her wake, she creates monsters and cloned Rangers that are programmed to do battle for her. Players are then tasked to form their own team in "Power Rangers: Legacy Wars" to fight off villains.

Accordingly, there are more powerful Rangers waiting to be unlocked in "Power Rangers: Legacy Wars", as well as the ability to upgrade warriors to compose the best team the player can use to defeat Rita and disinfect the Morphin Grid.

"Power Rangers: Legacy Wars" game features

All "Power Ranger" warriors in-game are fully customizable and upgraded as they are used to fight villains or against other players in a PvP combat. Additional features of the game are listed below:

•  Battle players in real time - this PvP mode allow players to fight each other in real-time. The feature also unlocks different arenas culled from the movie and the TV shows.
•  Collect new and iconic "Power Rangers" - in-game collectibles can be unlocked in-game allowing for the collection of 40+ characters from the movie to classic Rangers and villains.
•  Game team up - building alliances is featured to share, chat, trade strategies and tactics. The feature also allows for replays, which other players can learn from.
•  Customize a team - as said above, teams can be customizable for players to assemble the best team to fight. The team can then challenge players from around the world.

"Power Rangers: Legacy Wars" also feature stunning graphics. It allows players to view their favorite "Power Ranger" and their iconic moves in full-blown 3D models and animations. Additionally, upgrading warriors in "Power Rangers: Legacy Wars" using Zeo Shards earned through battles and missions, increases the player's winning streaks and bumps up battle stats according to WWG.

"Power Rangers" the movie comes to theaters on March 24, the mobile game "Power Rangers: Legacy Wars" is expected to launch within the same month. The game is now live for pre-registration, here.
