Due out on February 28, "Horizon Zero Dawn" by Guerilla Games is already in the hands of a few lucky individuals who now have first-hand experience playing Sony's "Horizon Zero Dawn" and its open world format.

Slated to be Sony's big hitter in 2017, "Horizon Zero Dawn" looks gorgeous based on screenshots and animated GIFS. According to WCCFTech, it also revealed additional details about the highly anticipated game. The game was postponed for release last year to provide it with more ambitious visuals.

One thing noticeable from the Twitter GIF posts by SlasherJPC is that "Horizon Zero Dawn's" background is not static. The foliage reacts to wind or life forms going around doing their business. Though not vital or too much of an essential to the game, they do add a sense of making the world seem more alive.

Reddit user Lordidude, one of the lucky players who managed to get an early copy of "Horizon Zero Dawn," mentioned the game is outstanding on the PlayStation 4 Pro. He cites the performance is solid on the console and its frame rate is locked at 30 FPS without any slowdowns. He also mentioned that controls are responsive, a bit different, but easy to learn.

"Horizon Zero Dawn" also provides more insight into the world and is to be expected. One thing that is vital to the game is stealth. Accordingly, stealth can make boss battles easier with certain tactics. Check out four areas of the game in the videos below.

For players who are not lucky enough to get an early copy of "Horizon Zero Dawn," according to PlayStationLifestyle, Sony confirmed that pre-loading of "Horizon Zero Dawn," will start 48 hours prior to the game's official US release. The report indicated that "Horizon Zero Dawn" would unlock at 9 pm PST on February 27, which is 11 pm CST and midnight EST.

"Horizon Zero Dawn" is slated for release in other regions on beginning March 1, in physical copy and digital download.
