"Snake Pass" is all set to be released digitally on March 28 in the U.S. and March 29 in Europe. The game will be playable on PS4, Xbox One, PC and the Nintendo Switch.

Sumo Digital announced that the physics-based platform game, "Snake Pass" would have HDR support on the PS4, as well as having enhanced visual features and higher frame rates in 4K. Xbox One players will have Xbox Play Anywhere support, which means a purchase of the game on Xbox One extends to a Windows 10 PC version at no additional cost with game progress carried over between platforms. Sadly, there will be no PlayStation Vita version, as the developers are focused on the PS4 and the PS4 Pro, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.

"Snake Pass" will be playable in TV mode, handheld mode and tabletop mode on the Nintendo Switch. Accordingly, "Snake Pass" will support the use of the Switch's Joy-Cons and Switch Pro Controllers, according to Gematsu.

"Snake Pass" has four world themes and 15 levels to the platform-puzzle game. According to the developers, there are hidden game features in "Snake Pass," but Sumo Digital is not keen on talking about the hidden features for now. Sumo Digital also developed such hits as Sonic and All-Stars Racing: Transformed and LittleBigPlanet 3.

The game will have players navigate Noodle the Snake and Doodle the Hummingbird as they move along moving obstacles collecting everything shiny. "Snake Pass" adventure begins when a mysterious intruder threatens to wreak havoc in their tranquil world. Noodle the Snake and Doodle the Hummingbird embarks on a journey to save the day.

The Sumo Digital team said they are already at the end of their journey. Accordingly, more announcements regarding the game are coming in the few weeks left of initial bug testing before the eventual release of "Snake Pass" to players.
