In commemoration of the 20^th anniversary of "Crash Bandicoot," Activision is celebrating in a big way by releasing remastered versions of the first three "Crash Bandicoot" games on PS4.

The three "Crash Bandicoot games, namely: "Crash Bandicoot," Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back," and "Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped" will be released as part of a bundle, and they are all coming exclusively to the PS4 this year. Skylander recently released new details about the "Crash Bandicoot" remakes, which was first announced during Sony's E3 conference.

Ahead of the trilogy's release, original "Crash Bandicoot" voice actress Debi Derryberry Tweeted she will be reprising her role as Coco Bandicoot in the remakes. Coco is Crash's sister in the game franchise; her first appearance is in "Cortex Strikes Back," and appeared in "Warped" as a playable character.

A batch of "Crash Bandicoot" images surfaced online showing the crate-bashing marsupial in "Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back" if full HD. Based on the released photos, it looks quite good. Vicarious Visions is currently doing the remastering duties for "Crash Bandicoot," taking over from the original creators, Naughty Dog, according to PlayStation Universe.

"Crash Bandicoot" N. Sane Trilogy adds a number of new features such as unified checkpoints, pause menus and manual/automatic save systems. Not only are the visuals getting a 4K resolution makeover, but the audio will be overhauled as well.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, before the "Crash Bandicoot" trilogy release, Crash will appear in Skylanders Imaginators, which will be released in October this year, first on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Original "Crash Bandicoot" voice actor Jess Harnell has been tapped to reprise his role as Crash in "Skylanders Imaginators." What is not announced though is, who is going to voice for Crash in the remastered version.

"Crash Bandicoot" N. Sane Trilogy is due for released sometime in 2017. However, Czech retailer, SuperGamer said the game would be released on June 30.
