Last month, Electronic Arts (EA) announced a list of games would be added to the EA Access Vault of free games. The wait is finally over; it seems, for one of the games at least. "Skate 3" has been spotted and now available for download on Xbox One.

"Skate 3" is originally built for the Xbox 360 but backward compatible on Xbox One, according to Gamespot. "Skate 3" now officially joins EA's paid-for subscription EA Access on Xbox One. Other listed games expected to be on namely "Dead Space Ignition," "Madden NFL 17" and "Zuma's Revenge" is not yet on, however, it might not be long before these games are added to EA Access Vault Soon.

According to Gamerant, "Skate 3" is exclusive to Xbox One, unfortunately. Since the game was never released for PC, it is not available to the PC version of EA Access, Origin Access. It is also not clear if the game will be re-released on the PS4 since the Sony console does not carry EA Access.

There are speculations though that EA is re-releasing "Skate 3" to test and see if people are interested in spending money on the series, or if fans of "Skate 3" are merely interested in just watching, others play. Notably, fans are hopeful that "Skate 4" will happen.

EA, back in May 2016, tweeted a denial saying that "Skate 4" is in development. However, in late January this year, EA senior Manager for community engagement Daniel Lingen posted a Twitter teaser that merely said "#skate4." The response to Lingen's Tweet was overwhelmingly positive, with one follower even saying, "Make EA Skate again."

Clearly, there is a following for "Skate 3" and the Skate series, but the question now lies if EA would push through or even plan to do "Skate 4." Fans have been vocal and keeping their fingers crossed. EA/Origin Access service costs $5 a month or $30 a year and is available on Xbox One and PC. EA Access is not available on the PlayStation 4.
