Bandai Namco released a new gameplay video of "Dark Souls III: The Ringed City" DLC, ahead of its official release next month.

The final expansion features new areas to explore, weapons, and enemies as can be viewed in the video below. The video shows various locations, as well as encounters with various ghouls, including a boss fight with a giant winged creature. According to PlayStationLifeStyle.net, the DLC features improved matchmaking for both co-op and PvP.

"Dark Souls III: The Ringed City" trailer features heavy spiritual presence. Ghost-like enemies can be seen attacking the player from the floor, an angel, who is deemed unfriendly also, attacks the player with golden ray projectiles coming from its wings.

A familiar foe makes a comeback in "Dark Souls III: The Ringed City," the Darkwraith. However, in this iteration, it now has a Darksign on its chest, a fiery sword, and fiery attributes. A deviation since, originally, Darkwraiths are not associated with fire.

Bandai Namco confirmed that "Dark Souls III: The Ringed City" DLC will feature three bosses. The first was featured in the trailer release, mentioned above.

The trailer for "Dark Souls III: The Ringed City" also suggest that gravity is not an issue in the DLC. The opening of the video showed the hero fall a long way, without any form of damage once it reached the ground below.

The deep world shown in the released trailer demonstrates the richness in visuals of the DLC. The environment includes a massive environmental design coupled with massive structures which eerily somewhat nostalgic.

"The Ringed City" will be available for all platforms beginning March 28. The DLC will cost $15 on its own. However, the DLC is included for those who avail of the $25 season pass, also included is the first expansion, Ashes of Ariandel, according to Gamespot.
