For Emma Watson, playing the live-action version of Belle from the Disney hit animated feature "Beauty and the Beast," is a lot of pressure.

"Beauty and the Beast" means so much for Watson saying she loves it so much. She constantly reminds herself though to "Don't screw this up, don't screw this one up!" she said in an interview with Disney Channel's Movie Surfers, Movie|Fone reported.

Playing the iconic Belle, Watson knows that she has got a lot riding on the role, as well as, expectations are set high by pronouncements that the live-action feature will not divert too much from the original "Beauty and the Beast" animated feature, down to the songs. Additionally, new songs are incorporated into the live-action feature, which was not a part of the original.

According to Cinema Blend, this particular Disney live-action fairy tale will be the first Disney feature to follow directly in its predecessor's footsteps and be a full musical. Added pressure can be attributed to the fact that the original "Beauty and the Beast" was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. It is imperative to make something just as good, if not better.

A self-proclaimed fan of "Beauty and the Beast," she wants to make her performance good too. Coming from a fan's point of view, she knows how important it is what the role means to other fans of the original. Without a doubt, obsessive Disney fans will scrutinize her, for sure.

Meanwhile, it seems Watson and the rest of the cast of "Beauty and the Beast" may not have to worry much in terms of sales for the movie. Pundits were right that Disney has a potential hit when the first trailer of the film was shown, and broke records in a 24-hour period.

Tickets for the "Beauty and the Beast" went on sale recently, and reports are already positive that the film is outstripping the advance sales of "Finding Dory" at the same point in its sales cycle. Though no figures are released as of yet, just to give an idea of its sales, "Finding Dory" opened to $135 million.

It is possible "Beauty and the Beast" might open with a bigger opening sales figure, which Fandango says they only see in a superhero movie. "Beauty and the Beast" comes to theaters on March 17.
