Bethesda's massively multiplayer online RPG "The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind" is set to be the next big expansion for this year. But before it launched in the market, new content and features are already hitting the game's PC version.

Launched in 2015, "The Elder Scrolls Online" is a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game (MMORPG) developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda for PC and Mac.

New Homestead Expansion Hit PC And Mac Version

According to The Express, the newly launched Homestead expansion, which is approximately 3.36GB in size, has just arrived on PC and Mac.

The Homestead expansion is a free add-on that allows players to buy and even customize their own homes in the gaming world. The homes are said to be instanced, so players would no longer compete with others to secure a plot of land.

The ESO Homestead update includes 39 housing variants, which also include a Housing Editor tools and around 2000 individual home furnishings. According to ESO developer ZeniMax Online Studios, players can now add over 2,000 furnishings to their house and even make these items using the new Furnishing Crafting mechanic.

Fans can now own one of every home, but the size of their home will dictate how many items and visitors are allowed inside their home. In addition to the Furnishing Crafting mechanic, ZeniMax Online Studios has also added the Master Crafting Writs, four new Motifs, and updated several sources of itemisation in the Imperial City and Cyrodiil.

Players can check the full details of the changes and improvements made on The Express website.

Homestead Expansion Will Be Late For PS4 And Xbox One

As mentioned earlier by GameSpot, all ESO players will receive a free home when the Homestead update launches by completing a tutorial.

Unfortunately, the Homestead expansion will be late for PS4 and Xbox One gamers. The release date for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles has been set on February 21.

The much-awaited "The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind" expansion is set to release in June.
