Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" live-action feature just came out with a series of character posters that gives a better peek at the cast.

"Beauty and the Beast" cast

The posters show Emma Watson as Belle in a beautiful yellow-gold gown reminiscent of what her animated counterpart wore. We see Dan Stevens of Downton Abbey fame as the Beast and, another one of him as the prince.

The supporting cast of "Beauty and the Beast" in their human form were also given posters of their own. Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumieré, Sir Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Luke Evans as the brute, Gaston, his sidekick Lefou portrayed by Josh Gad who was also Olaf the snowman in Disney's 3D animated feature "Frozen," and Kevin Kline as Belle's father, Maurice.

Posters of other cast member include that of Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Broadway star Audra McDonald as the wardrobe Garderobe, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as the feather duster Plumette.

"Beauty and the Beast" moving pictures

Not only did Disney came out with the character posters of the coming "Beauty and the Beast" but also came out with a brilliant online marketing stunt. Watson might have shed her "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" robes and roots as the brainy witch Hermione Granger for a gorgeous ball gown, but it seems she took a bit of magic with her.

Disney came out with animated gifs of the characters that are reminiscent of "Harry Potter's" moving photographs, as shown in the Huffington Post.

"Beauty and the Beast" special song

"Beauty and the Beast" was also known for its music. Having been the first animated to bag awards for its musical score and soundtrack. Josh Groban lends his voice to sing a track entitled "For Evermore." The Beast in the movie will also sing the song. The singer-actor said he is honored to sing the beautiful song by Alan Menken and Tim Rice, Playbill reported.

Last November, the first "Beauty and the Beast" trailer was dropped and it garnered a record of 127.6 million views in a span of only 24 hours. Judging on how well received the trailer is "Beauty and the Beast" might just as well be the most highly anticipated movies of 2017.

"Beauty and the Beast" would like you to be their guests to theaters, March 17.
