iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users can now experience the first iOS 10.3 public beta after Apple finally released it for developer testing. Several notable features have been seen in the software.

The iOS 10.3 public beta 1 will make sure that users will not lose their AirPods easily, according to 9to5 Mac. Some Apple subscribers have criticized the new wireless earphones even though they are easy to use and require less effort from the user. Critics are saying that AirPods can get lost easily, which is why Apple added the Find My AirPods to the Find My iPhone app in the iOS 10.3 public beta.

Apple's iOS 10.3 public beta, which uses the new Apple File System (APFS), improved Siri and allowed the digital assistant to study cricket scores from Indian Premier League and International Cricket Council. The Settings app, meanwhile, now displays the user security section better.

Reduced Motion preference in web apps is now available on Safari, and the Podcasts app now sports a widget that resembles the Music app's design. There is no "Theater Mode" or Control Center toggle on iOS 10.3, contrary to previous claims. Theater Mode will come to the Apple Watch instead in upcoming updates.

The Maps app can now display weather data in 3D Touch forecast. CarPlay, meanwhile, can quickly access the last three used apps and switch between them without the need of going to the Home screen. CarPlay can also easily access the Music app and browse through albums and songs. There's the new Up Next screen, too.

The iOS 10.3 public beta made little changes in how apps open and close. The new animation now displays the apps with more rounded edges. In addition, users can now check out an illustrated breakdown on what fills up their iCloud storage.

The iOS 10.3 came with hidden features, too. Developer Steve Troughton-Smith examined the software's code and found two iPad keyboards (floating and gestural) presumably launching alongside iOS 11.

The first keyboard hovers above apps and other content on the screen. Users can move this keyboard around the screen whenever they're typing or watching videos. Check out the keyboard in action below.

The gestural keyboard, meanwhile, allows users to swipe left and right on any key to put backspace or space on a text. More details about iOS 11 and its features will be revealed at the WWDC event in June, according to Phone Arena.
