Next year will be a big year in terms of entertainment as top 2017 movies include those that are based on comic book characters. The list includes "Wonder Woman," "Logan," "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Justice League."

According to The Independent, Justice League features Batman battling for leadership of the group with Superman. The rest consists of The Flash, Cyborg, Wonder Woman and Aquaman. The fact that this movie is happening already has a numerous fans excited as it is certainly a dream come true to have that many superheroes in one giant movie. It certainly deserves to be in the list of top 2017 movies as it gets shown in theaters on Nov. 17.

"Spider Man: Homecoming," according to Cinema Blend, is being handled by Marvel Studios for the first time. After Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield play the web-slinger, it is now the turn of Tom Holland who reprises his role as Spider-Man from "Captain America: Civil War." The Vulture (Michael Keaton) will be the main antagonist for this movie and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) will also be making an appearance in one of the top 2017 movies.

"Wonder Woman" (Gal Gadot) has a small role in "Batman v. Superman" so it is great to see her get a standalone movie that is one of the top movies 2017. The villain for this movie has yet to be announced but reports say it is someone you won't want to mess with.

"Logan" is Hugh Jackman's last appearance as Wolverine and the movie takes us to a time when mutants are an endangered species. Wolverine and Professor X are out hiding in what looks to be the last Wolverine movie so it definitely is one of the top movies 2017. James Mangold will be directing after his success calling the shots for The Wolverine.
