"World of Warcraft" director Ion Hazzikostas announced at the BlizzCon 2016 that the game's Legion Patch 7.3 will send the players to Argus.

Although fans are still anticipating the release of 7.1.5, Hazzikostasn already teased the possibility of letting the players explore Argus for the upcoming 7.3 patch, IGN reported . He talked about bringing the fight to the demon infested world to put Patch 7.2 The Tomb of Sargeras in perspective. Argus is the original homeworld of Eredar, which means it is the homeworld of Draenei.

Hazziostas said that Patch 7.1.5 and 7.2 will have exciting new PvP features, dungeons, and raids, GameRant reported. He said they didn't want fans to think that 7.2 would be finale without spoiling the story. He wanted the fans to look forward to a bigger story for 7.3, which will delve deeper into the lore and where the Legion's power truly come from. He said that they want the story to culminate between Legion and Draenei, which makes Argus a sensible finale.

Argus is very important because the whole story of the expansion is about the Burning Legion, headed by Sargeras, bombarding Azeroth with attacks. And Argus could be where the Legion's power comes from, which may also mean that Sargeras originally came from this world. If players will finally bring the fight to Argus, heroes of Azeroth will have a chance to destroy the Burning Legion, which is a good ending to the story.

There have been a lot of speculations online that Argus would support its own expansion, but the WoW director denied this notion. For him the Legion expansion is the best platform to feature this world.

There were no announcements on exactly when those patches will be released. Patch 7.1.5 will be released during the Public Test Realm launch after BlizzCon. But Patches 7.2 and 7.3 will take a longer time frame before they will be released. According to Hazzikostas, the release dates will depend on how fans play the game. The WoW team wants to make sure that the fans will always get something new to play after the expansion lifespan.
