Stephen Hawking recently graced his presence at the Pride of Britain Awards where he received the Lifetime Achievement award. In the same event, Hawking eluded questions on Brexit noting its complexity far tougher than mathematical questions. However, it seems that the genius chose a light discussion with a famous actor instead.

When Hawking received the lifetime achievement award from the Prime Minister of United Kingdom Theresa May, he immediately blocked questions on Brexit. Apparently, Hawking is not the only British academic who warns about the logistical challenges of Brexit. Recently, The UK Changing Europe independent research group published a report on the enormity of the task of removing britain from the European Union.

The Brexit is believed to trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty. Article 50 reportedly tackles on how a European country could voluntarily leave the EU. However, it is yet to be formally invoked, UK and EU reported.

In addition, Professor Menon noted that Brexit could be very difficult. Hence, recent reports talk about what will happen next after the ball on Article 50 starts rolling. However, Hawking is apparently avoiding this. Brexit is also facing the great repeal bill, which mandates the conversion of EU regulations into the British law, which Prof. Menon confirms is a monstrous task all by itself. Menon further added that the massive process would involve everyone from the Civil Service, Scots, Welsh, Northern Irish to the English and all parts of their government.

In other news, Benedict Cumberbatch of "Doctor Strange" reportedly had a night out on the town with Hawking on "The Graham Norton" show. Cumberbatch revealed that he had a couple of drinks with the theoretical physicist and that he told Hawking that he may be playing the role of Khan in "Star Trek" soon, Metro UK reported.

Hawking and the 40-year old actor were said to be at the Royal Society discussing the future of Science over a few Margaritas. Cumberbatch reportedly confessed that Hawking was the only person that he talked to about his role as Khan. Apparently, this light-hearted moment made the intellectual genius smile.
