Executive producer Jonathan Brackley shared some insights on what's to expect for "Humans" Season 2. Though he did not clearly reveal out spoilers, the producer gave some ideas on what would happen to the Synths.

The eighth episode of "Humans" Season 1 ended when one of the characters succeeded in decoding the secret to the Synths consciousness. Hobb (Danny Webb) caught up with the Synths and arrested them all, while the Hawkins family was clearly in collusion with the Synths.

It was shown that Hobb had the Synths secured proceeded to run tests on them. As it ran in the series, he was trying to determine what made this Synths unique that they developed consciousness. The ultimate plan was to find the code that might have done this and erase them from the Synths subroutines.

"Humans" Season 2 will start in a timeline that happened six months after the last episode. The Hawkins' return to their normal life. According to Digital Spy, Niska (Emily Berrington), who departed the group to be on her own, is still in possession of the consciousness code, while the other synths continue with their life and try to find their place in the world. Mia's (Gemma Chan) former family the Hawkins', Joe (Tom Goodman-Hill) and Laura (Katherine Parkinson) would try to mend their marriage.

Brackley, in an interview with Variety, gave insights on what we can expect from "Humans" Season 2.

1. The Hawkins will be back. Brackley says they have big plans for this family whom they consider as the heart of the show including Sophie (Pixie Davies). Sophie was the first person they cast and they have planned a story for her that would pit her against her older co-actors.

2. It would be a rocky relationship between Laura and Joe Hawkins.

3. Mia (Gemma Chan) will explore herself further to find out who she truly is or what her true potentials could be.

4. Leo (Colin Morgan) would be settling down to a happy life. What he needs is a purpose and a mission, according to Brackley.

5. Dr. George Millican (William Hurt) is obviously dead. Brackley hints that the show has characters that are revived by technology as in the case of Leo who is half-synth.

6. Fred (Sope Dirisu) will not be remaining powered down in the crypt.

"Humans" started Season 2 in the United Kingdom on Oct. 30. On Channel 4. U.S. airing will be on Feb. 2017 on AMC.
