Apple just announced that it will hold a press event for something huge. What are the things to expect a week ahead of MacBook Pro 2016 launch?

Apple says hello again to the superfans who have been waiting long enough to find out the truth about MacBook Pro 2016's major overhaul. The invitation only states the two words and detailed information about the registration and the presentation schedule. However, Apple did not mention anything about which hardware that the company would be introducing in the event.

The tech crowds can quickly assume that the Oct. 27 event will likely be about the MacBook Pro 2016 and the MacBook Air 2016 unveiling.

Aside from the Sierra-powered computers which Recode has been explaining in details, there is a huge possibility that Apple will ditch out the standard USB port. This is considered annoying to Apple enthusiasts as it may reduce the convenience in utilizing the laptop; however, the Cupertino-based tech giant may come up with new invention to make every change acceptable.

The USB C port seems to rule the world soon, as Apple plans to replace its Megsafe and USB ports and switch to Thunderbolt 3 and USB C instead, DailyMail reported.

Another bad news would be the discontinuation of 11-inch MacBook Air to focus on the 13-inch variant. For those who have been planning to upgrade to the device, they should start searching for new alternative or wait for the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 next year. University Herald has also listed a few reasons why the iPad Pro 2 could outshine the MacBook Air next year.

Above all else, the big news for the event would be the OLED touch-bar. Tech crowds have been curious about how Apple will design its MacBook Pro as the physical function keys are removed. The MacBook Pro 2016 will be thinner and lighter, sporting Touch ID for login and Apple Pay confirmation.
