Pixel and Pixel XL are not only fast, but impressive.

The highly anticipated smartphones have been revealed so far and now tech enthusiasts are giving their full attention to the Google Nexus Phone 2016 called Pixel and Pixel XL.

The leak, or news, came from David Ruddock's tweet about what's under the hood of the upcoming Nexus phones, as reported by Yahoo. The Android Police reporter said that Pixel and Pixel XL will sport Snapdragon 821. If rumors are true, then these two Google Nexus phones will be the fastest smartphones. This is a good news but Ruddock claimed that the Snapdragon 821 phones could be available for US buyers.

Taking Twitter to explain further, Ruddock also stated that the Pixel phones will have 'exclusive Google support'.

Another leak shows off the image renders of what's believed to be the Pixel XL or HTC Marlin. In the image, there is a 'G' logo at the back panel, Android Pure reported.

Google Nexus Phone 2016 is rumored to sport 12 MP/8 MP cameras and run Android Nougat. The small Nexus, Pixel, will sport 5 inch screen and the bigger variant, Pixel XL, will get 5.5 inch screen.

Why Pixel and Pixel XL are worth the wait

After Apple revealed iPhone 7 on September 7, many have shown disappointment because the features in the new iPhone seem to be what the other phones are currently having.

The iPhone 7 is compared head-to-head with the Nexus 6 which was released in 2014. It shows similar features with slight differences. Some Twitter users have even expressed their plan to wait for the Pixel and Pixel XL instead of pre-order the iPhone 7.

The premium phones might likely be priced at $499 or higher but it is unclear whether the leaked pricing is intended for the the 32 GB or 256 GB variant, UH News reported. Google Pixel and Pixel XL are expected to be revealed on October 4.
