When it comes to low cost education, many Americans are trying to find the best. But affordability is still the priority. What most people do not know is, that according to a U.S. News data, most of them, more than half, are found in Texas.

Zero to Low-cost online graduate education programs, according to U.S. News, is available. A list showing these schools enables students and families a way to find an graduate school program for growth and education.

Earning a master's degree online can open doors to professions with a higher salary. But getting into graduate school still comes with a price tag. But there is a way to get that with minimal or zero cost. Prospective students can get an online master's program in education, for example, by looking at the cost per credit.

These costs vary when it comes to out of state programs. These costs range from a minimum of $203 up to $1,850. If you're looking to find schools and if you are an out-of-state prospective student, it is important to note that most of them are based in the Southwest and in the Midwest. Especially, in Texas - where there are six of them.

The list below covers ten online graduate education programs with the lowest out-of-state credit costs between 2015 and 2016.
