The Pokemon Company threw fans a curve earlier this month when it rolled out its latest trailer, teasing new Pokemon, Alola forms of Gen I creatures and an array of brand-new mechanics. Now, just a few days later, CoroCoro seems to be gearing up to do the same in its latest feature about the impending 3DS games, "Pokemon Sun And Moon."

CoroCoro has spilled the beans about the latest Pokemon (courtesy of Serebii), even more so now that the studio has officially unveiled Alola forms for a few original Pokemon. CoroCoro has doubled down on that by taking the wraps off some Alola forms of its own.

The aforementioned issue divulged a slew of new Pokemon including Sunabaa and Shirodesuna, along with Yowashi and Nuikoguma.

Sunabaa is a Ghost/Ground type Pokemon whose name is an adaption of the Japanese word for sandbox i.e. sunaba. It changes into another Ghost/Ground type dubbed, Shirodesuna upon evolving.

Shirodesuna means "a castle of sand" in Japanese.

The illustration hints both Pokemon are totally different species that is the output of the possession of a defunct object, merging the likes of Litwek/Lampent/Chandelure and Klefki as Pokemon that are somewhat inspired by tsukumogami.

Yowashi, on the other hand is a Water-type fish Pokémon that boast the ability to change its structure from a single fish to a school of fish.

As far as Nuikoguma is concerned, it is the pre-evolved form of Bewear and is also Normal/Fighting.

Meowth and Marowak were revealed in CoroCoro's latest issue.

Alola Meowth is now a Dark-type as a result of breeding from the Alolan royal family. This could mean that Persian is likely to get an Alola Form as well, iDigitalTimes reported.

Citing this type change, Alolan Meowth gets rid of its white and brown fur coat for a gray and white one. Alolan Marowak has dumped its Ground type to become a Fire/Ghost type.

Both these new Alolan forms are uber cool just like Vulpix/Ninetails and Sandshrew/Sandslash.

However, Marowak is quite appealing, as the first time a gamer stumbles upon one in Red/Blue/Yellow, in reality; it is the ghost of Marowak that was killed by Team Rocket.

If rumors doing rounds proved to be true, CoroCoro's next month's issue will unveil a poster featuring what reports claim to be Rockruff's "Secret Evolution."
