The huge fanbase of "Dragon Ball Super" have been waiting with bated breath for episode 54 of the hit Japanese anime television series. The looming episode is dubbed, "Inheritor of the Saiyan Blood," thus stirring conversations among fans as to who will inherit the Saiyan blood.

'Dragon Ball Super' episode 54 will gradually take the wraps off Goku Black's identity and also witness Vegeta training Future Trunks into becoming an all-powerful combatant. The idea is to make Trunks strong enough to defeat Goku Black, The Christian Times reported.

However, this does not imply he is going to weasel out. The episode title clearly indicates that Trunk will transform into an imposing warrior, thanks to Vegeta.

If rumors doing rounds proved to be true, Goku Black will transform into Super Saiyan Pink in 'Dragon Ball Super' episode 54. It was earlier reported that this is a level higher than the Super Saiyan Blue. This transformation hints of Goku Black's true identity.

Is Goku Black A Saiyan?

Goku Black was never cited as a Saiyan, however his ability to transform spills the beans about where he hails from.

Moreover, fans will have an opportunity to see what's happening in Universe 10.

Citing the synopsis on the forthcoming "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 54, Gawasu and his student Zamasu will transport themselves to the future with the help of their time rings.

If recently surfaced spoilers are anything to go by, Goku Black is Zamasu's future self. This was further established when Zamasu showed apathy for mankind.

Avid "Dragon Ball Super" fans speculated that Zamasu's feelings have eventually aggravated and as a result he is transforming into a dark persona who is causing a devastating rampage to humanity.

The "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 54 is slated to air on Fuji TV on August 7.
