Looks like a good news for those waiting with bated breath for the release of MacBook Pro 2016 as there will be no further delays. With one of the laptop's key components, Intel's Kaby Lake processor, started shipping, rumors are running rampant that MacBook Pro 2016 will hit the store shelves in autumn, specifically in November.

Intel has started shipping its Kaby Lake processor to system developers and OEMs. If reports doing rounds are anything to go by, the latest processor will be up for grabs in just a couple of months, probably before the holiday shopping season.

The seventh-generation processor is slated to offer a slew of upgrades from its predecessor. Customers can anticipate a boost in the overall speed and graphics abilities. Intel's Kaby Lake processor will drain less power, thus prolonging the battery life for portable devices, Gadgets 360 reported.

The latest processor will also offer native support to Thunderbolt 3. Other enhancements slated to come with the Kaby Lake processor include 4K video playback, HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 support, and 10-bit HEVC videos, PC Advisor reported.

Aside from the new processor, the imminent MacBook Pro 2016 will reportedly to sport a slimmer and lighter design as compared to its predecessor.

The device will ship with four USB Type-C ports, an OLED touch bar (placed above its keyboard) and Touch ID fingerprint scanner. The purported laptop will skip the 3.5mm headphone jack, but sport a Lightning-to-audio port instead.

The MacBook Pro 2016 display screen is rumored to have received some revamp too. The screen may not be 4K, contrary to previous reports, however an increase in its pixel density about 400ppi is likely.

The impending MacBook Pro 2016 will be up for grabs in an array of color variants, just like the 12-inch model that is currently available in space gray, rose gold and gold.

However, the Cupertino-based tech firm has remained mum and divulged no details regarding the hardware changes on the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016. It looks like MacBook fans will have to wait until the MacBook Pro 2016 arrives this November.
