Matt Damon, who is one of the highest-grossing actors of all time, has revealed that he only has about 25 lines of dialogue in director Paul Greengrass' spy action thriller film, "Jason Bourne."

The dialogue of Damon has led to speculation that with the actor's past paydays, he may have earned about $1 million per line for the latest franchise of the film.

It has been claimed by Forbes that Damon gathered about $26 million for the third installment, "Bourne Ultimatum."

But, on some of Damon's more recent projects, the actor was reportedly paid $25 million to star in 2015's "The Martian." So, if that payment is a piece of information for what Universal had to shell out to seek the favor of Damon to get back to the franchise that has grossed over $1.2 billion worldwide, Damon was likely paid at least $25 million for "Jason Bourne," Vanity Fair reported.

The Bourne franchise is widely known for having way more action than words and Damon, who was ranked among Forbes magazine's most bankable stars, has stated that he worked very hard with all of the film's stunts, according to CNN.

However, Damon and director Greengrass talked about their decision to revisit the film franchise as they both put it out of the way after "The Bourne Ultimatum" in 2007. In the middle of their conversation, Damon made known the fascinating fact that in the upcoming motion picture, the dialogues of his character will be kept to an absolute bare minimum.

The director even told the actor that he only has about 25 lines of dialogue in the "Jason Bourne" film, based on the report of The Guardian.

But, Greengrass stated that he thinks what makes a Bourne movie is the violence and the set pieces. And there's a tremendous amount of emotionality in Damon's character, Yahoo reported.
