Looks like avid Galaxy fans waiting with bated breath for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will have to sit tight for a couple of weeks until Samsung officially unveils the highly-anticipated device and reveals the color options it will be available in.

With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in the cards, a slew of visual leaks about the device have surfaced online stirring conversations among ardent Galaxy fans. It's no secret that the South Korean tech firm is not much for design after all; however things might be a little different this year as it attempts to build up its lineup that could efficiently compete with Apple in the high end bracket.

Samsung's launch of the Note 7 in August is expected to set the pace until next year's launch of the next Galaxy S flagship smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to boast an array of awe-inspiring features, among which is an iris scanner that will reportedly ramp up authentication and security for the looming phablet.

In addition, the Galaxy Note 7 will feature an edged screen; finally marking a formal debut of the feature in Samsung's high end phablet lineup. Moreover, the Note 7 will pack an upgraded processor as compared to the recently launched Galaxy S7, WCC Fetch reported.

For those wondering how all of these features will fit into the device's overall look, the Note 7 is slated to add a slew of more colors including Coral Blue to the lineup this year. Quite a few renders of the Note 7 in this color option surfaced online recently and judging by these renders, it looks like Samsung has done an amazing job with it this year.

Recently a slew of reports surfaced online showing the Galaxy Note 7 in all available color options including Black, Titanium, Silver, Gold and Coral Blue.

If rumors proved to be true, the device will be released close to August 2 and probably will be available for preorder that day.

It will come in two variants:

The one designed for the North American market will reportedly pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, and will be backed by 6 GB of RAM.

The other model will come with the Samsung Exynos 8893 chipset and will pack 6 GB of RAM as well. Both devices will boast a 64 GB of internal storage, a mammoth 5.7-inch QHD resolution Super AMOLED panel. The smartphones will boast a 12-megapixel primary camera geared with Samsung's dual-pixel phase detection autofocus technology. Thanks to its ability to record at 4K resolution, the Galaxy Note 7 will be able to go through its internal storage without delay.

On the front, the South Korean smartphone maker will reportedly improve over the Galaxy S7's 3.7-megapixel front facing camera, replacing it with a 5-megapixel unit. All models are expected to boast a microSD card slot, and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Android Headlines reported.

It will be eventually be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. The devices will pack a 4,000 mAh battery and boast IP68 water and dust resistance. Besides, being a Galaxy Note, the smartphone will feature the S Pen.

These are mere rumors and until Samsung either confirms or debunks those, fans are recommended to take them with a grain of salt.
