The University of Virginia announced the vice president appointment of Kelley Stuck who will also be the chief human resource officer.

Kelley Stuck, is currently the University of Missouri system's interim vice president of human resources. On September 6, Stuck will assume the leadership position in University of Virginia.

As the head of the human resources office, Kelley Stuck will be responsible for finding innovative ways that will lead to engagement of all employees. Stuck should also be able to establish a culture, set up a system, and initiate trainings that will develop the leaders and empower the school's employees to solve issues and problems encountered. She will also be responsible in creating integrated talent acquisition plans as a partner if the leaders in other divisions such as the Academic Division, University Physicians Group, and the Medical Center, UVA Today reported.

The University of Virginia is school to more than 25,000 students. The three divisions of the school offers more than 27,000 full-time and part time jobs as faculty and staf.

Kelley Stuck will be heading the new initiative set by the University of Virginia, the Ufirst. This initiative seeks to create a human resources function that centers customers and makes an exceptional experience for employees. Ufirst is an initiative that will enhance the human resource systems of the university in terms of staffing, quality, and types of services, Augusta Free Press reported.

Kelley Stuck is a graduate in Truman University at Kirksville Missouri with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Marketing Communications. She took her master's degree from University of Central Michigan as a Master of Science in Administration concentrating on Human Resources. She also holds a Senior Professional certification in Human Resources.
