While fans are waiting with bated breath to experience the upcoming AR game dubbed, "Pokemon Go" in a brand-new format, a lot of details have recently surfaced giving a glimpse of the extensive efforts that have gone into bracing the much-awaited title.

"Pokemon" fans have been waiting for the free-to-play mobile game for quite a long time. The game's arrival was finally confirmed for July during Nintendo's second-day E3 live stream. The company did not reveal a concrete day though.

Nintendo, however shared more details about the title's accessory - a wrist-worn wearable dubbed Pokemon Go Plus - which enable players to enjoy the game without using their smartphones. The hardware device will be priced at $34.99, but will not be available at launch.

Players, who intend to delve into "Pokemon Go" as soon as it is released, need to brace themselves by reading up on their prized Pokemon, and brush up the old tricks that were extremely popular in previous games.

Players should be prepared to learn several new things from square one for "Pokemon Go." More importantly, players should have good amount of knowledge about the far-flung Pokemon Universe, Master Herald reported.

Collaborating AR (augmented-reality) technology with smartphones, "Pokemon Go" enable players to look for and get their hands on Pokemon in the own lawn.

Players can either opt to use already programmed backgrounds that would account to a traditional gaming experience. Alternatively, they can also opt to use their smartphone cameras to have the Poekmon show up on the streets of their town or cities.

In order to grab more experience points as a trainer, players need to catch and train as many Pokemons as possible. While players evolve as more powerful trainers, they'll have a opportunity to catch rarer and stronger Pokemon.

The Pokemon Company also divulged that trainers would earn rewards in the form a "candy" for catching numerous Pokemons.

A "candy" can be used to evolve a Pokemon into its next form. Nintendo did not share details regarding how many times a trainer can catch a legendary Pokémon, Polygon reported.

As far as trading and its availability at launch is concerned, Nintendo noted that the feature is currently under development, however it wouldn't be accessible until after launch.

The company affirmed its focus is on ensuring that the app's core experience was fantastic, enabling players to develop the skills required to use it and catch some Pokemon before they could actually trade them with other players.

In terms of the upcoming game's connection with rest of the Pokemon universe, Nintendo hinted some sort of upcoming connectivity between "Pokemon Go" and the imminent "Pokémon Sun and Moon." No further details were divulged.

Pokémon Go Plus also received an update during the livestream, in addition to a price point.

That said, the actual game will be free when it debuts next month on iOS as well as Android devices.
