The recently unveiled "Pokemon Go" beta updates brings a slew of awe-inspiring changes to Niantic's upcoming augmented reality game, including time and place sensitive capture of new Pokemons - for instance, players can capture Ghastly at night and in dark, eerie places only since the Pokemon is a ghostly kind - and evolution 'candies' and trainer customisation of his/her avatar.

Meanwhile, more good news seem to have rolled out for those who have been waiting with bated breath for the release of "Pokemon Go" as an official release date has finally been assigned to the much-awaited AR role-playing game.

Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto unveiled the Pokemon Go Plus wearable during the company's Treehouse Live event.

Players can use this wearable to catch Pokemon in the game and get game related notifications without requiring a smartphone, N4BB reported.

The device, according to the Nintendo team will be up for grabs by the end of next month and will be priced at about $35. While discussing about the game's release date during a Livestream, the team divulged that Niantic will debut "Pokemon Go" just before the wearable hit the stores - basically, before the end of July this year.

"Pokemon Go" is now linked with July release, amidst several rumours hinting a 2016 debut of the highly-anticipated game.

While this might probably put a lid on the rumour mills that have churned speculations in terms of the game's release date, "Pokemon Go" team is still in hot waters as the game's beta leaks has unveiled an array of updates, specifically about the title's new mechanics especially related to training and evolution, Inquisitr reported.

Nintendo's efforts to curb the "Pokemon Go" beta gameplay leaks did not garner desired results as details of the beta field somehow surfaced online.

One of the key beta update include getting rid of Evolution Shards as they are now renamed as 'Candy.'

Just before E3 2016 kicked off, speculations doing rounds hinted that Nintendo will highlight the "Pokemon Go" during the event and hold a Q&A session connected to the game and offer an opportunity for fans to try the brand new title.

Further adding salt to the wound, a new "Pokemon Go" gameplay footage have surfaced online from the beta test in Australia.

The leaked footage gives a nine minute sneak peek of what the game has to offer. In the footage, it can be seen that players have the option to fully customise their avatars by picking up from their preferred clothing, features, gender, facial and more.

Based on the gameplay, it looks like players will not be able to lock horns with wild Pokemon, however they can try to capture them with the help of a Pokeball.

But that's not all - players can either view the Pokemon in augmented reality on the streets or can simply turn off the camera and view them on their smartphones.

Players need to visit a Gym and become a member of either Red, Blue or Yellow team so that their Pokemons can go toe-to-toe with other Pokemons. Players can then train their Pokemons to level up. However, the battles are comparatively different from the battles in the earlier versions of the fan-favourite game.
